You sell beds, not rooms
Hotel systems count the room as the unit. In a hostel one room has eight beds for eight people who do not know each other. So the platform starts from the bed.

A dorm with eight beds sells as eight separate reservations. Each guest gets a bed and a code.

Three independent states per bed
A bed can be reserved for tonight and empty right now. It can be clean but under maintenance. So each state is stored on its own and never merged.

A bed shows as available only when it is in service, clean and has no reservation right now.
Bed calendar
Each row is a bed and each bar is a reservation. You see the gaps between stays and which beds fit the next group.
- Double bookings are blocked in the database itself
- A temporary hold keeps the bed until payment, then releases on its own
- Book several beds for a group in one room or across rooms
- Pin a monthly guest to a bed that does not change
- Move a guest to another bed with the full history kept
- Dates follow the property time zone, from check-in time to check-out time
Room types that fit your property
Types are defined as data. You can add a new type without changing the system.
- Shared dorm
- Several beds in one room, with bed count and bunk levels.
- Female or male dorm
- Set the room category and the system warns if a booking does not match.
- Private room
- One or two beds for one guest or a couple. Sold as one unit.
- Capsules
- Single sleeping pods in one room. Each pod has a code and a state.
